Beth + Rob | Berkeley | Comal and Cesar Chavez Park

After much head scratching and brainstorming, Beth and Rob decided to meet me at Comal in Berkeley. Comal is a brand new restaurant that just opened last week, so being the food lovers, we were all excited to try this new spot. Beth arrived dressed like a movie star with dark glasses, a cool one piece pants suit thingy (the technical term), and fancy shoes. Rob looked spiffy too, and was also wearing fancy shoes. Beth had the foresight to make reservations, and we scooted to the front of the sizable line that had formed outside and were sat quickly. The food was good, the drinks were great, the patio in the back is really nice. We had fun. From there we went down to the Berkeley Marina / Cesar Chavez Park for a little kite flying. Why I don’t go kite flying is beyond me – there is something so nice about it. Anyway, in case you were wondering, Beth and Rob met at spin class (Rob is a spin instructor). Here are some pics. Enjoy!
