The architecture, the moody surroundings, and the great food are just a few things that make the Headlands Center for the Arts one of my favorite spots to shoot.  It also helps that the couples who choose this beautiful venue tend to be flexible, fun, and adventurous.  J and S were no exception.  They got ready in the Presidio and then headed across the bridge to their fun and intimate Jewish (ish) ceremony.  Beautiful local food and a fun dance party followed.  The photo station I set up for them captured some great shots.

Sarah and Matt’s Presidio Log Cabin was so so good.  They had Napalito tacos for dinner, a fancy beer toast instead of a champagne toast, chips and guacamole, lots of kids running free, and so much laughter.  The overflowing love of these two incredibly considerate and genuine people was energizing and invigorating.  They had a cake of cheeses (so much better than cheese cake).  Home brewed beer was on tap.  Sarah’s purple Converse were the bomb.  I busted out my Photo Station and was stoked to see it well used.  Before the ceremony, Sarah did her own hair and makeup at the Inn at the Presidio and then we did family pics out front.  For end of the day pics, we found our way to a Battery overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and had the luck to cross paths with a skateboarder doing some tricks for a videographer and go the perfect photobomb pic.  Heart of Gold DJs rocked the dance party.  This wedding was so sweet and a ton of fun.
