Mia and Ben contacted me last month about shooting their little San Francisco City Hall wedding. Last minute wedding planning …. no problem. These two fun, outdoorsy, creative people were easy going and blast to work with. When we exited City Hall we were approached by a man from Greece who told us he could give us a deal on a vacation there. Oh, how I love you San Francisco. After City Hall we went to Mia’s parents house for a waffle brunch, toasts, and good conversation.

2017 was a strange year. The overall level of uncertainty seemed unusually high. There were fires and floods in California, and wacky politics everywhere. As crazy as last year felt, when I look back at the people I worked with and the way they gracefully danced with uncertainty, I feel nothing but love. After many years of shooting weddings and working with couples and their friends and families, I am still stoked about what I do. Here are 100 images from last year.
From Indiana, these two delightful people came to San Francisco City Hall to tie the knot and partake in some Bay Area beauty. I felt honored to be their witness. We spent the day visiting a few stunning spots around San Francisco. After City Hall, we went to the Sutro Baths (where we had PB&J sandwiches), the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Presidio. Our little SF tour would have been much more difficult if it hadn’t been a Tuesday. Yeah to mid week weddings.
