2017 was a strange year. The overall level of uncertainty seemed unusually high. There were fires and floods in California, and wacky politics everywhere. As crazy as last year felt, when I look back at the people I worked with and the way they gracefully danced with uncertainty, I feel nothing but love. After many years of shooting weddings and working with couples and their friends and families, I am still stoked about what I do. Here are 100 images from last year.

Jessica and Ethan live about 4 blocks from my house. It was such a pleasure working with them, meeting their delightful families, and being a part of their day of love. They laid down carpets borrowed from friends for the ceremony in the Redwoods. The taco bar dinner was killer. Jessica’s mom made the carrot wedding cake. So much to love about this wedding.
From one weekend to the next, the temperature in the Bay Area swung a good 50 degrees. Rachel and Jon put together a wonderful DYI wedding at the Hacienda de las Flores in Moraga in 100 plus degree weather. Temporary tattoos, hand stamped gift bags, a super fun raffle, corn hole, bubbles, ice cream sandwiches, tons of kids, a mariachi band, and a whole lot of fun made this such a great celebration of love. Congrats to these two rock climbing lovers.
