2017 was a strange year. The overall level of uncertainty seemed unusually high. There were fires and floods in California, and wacky politics everywhere. As crazy as last year felt, when I look back at the people I worked with and the way they gracefully danced with uncertainty, I feel nothing but love. After many years of shooting weddings and working with couples and their friends and families, I am still stoked about what I do. Here are 100 images from last year.

Fun times with Carolyn and Andrew. We hit up some of my favorite spots in the Presidio. Getting ready at the Inn at the Presidio, a quick jaunt to Goldsworthy’s Wood Line, a stop off at those bunkers overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, and a pause at that place were the new freeways come together… and all before the ceremony started at the Presidio Chapel. Fantastic flowers by Belle Flower and delightful reception at the Golden Gate Club. Good stuff.
Smiles for miles. Lauren and Kristen’s wedding at Foreign Cinema in the San Francisco Mission was a blast. We did a quick walk about before the ceremony, and used some garage doors as backdrops for portraits. Lauren and Kristen were so fun. Their wedding ceremony and reception at Foreign Cinema was filled with laughter, great food, and 3D glasses. Live long and prosper you two.
